Little Ray's Nature Centre has been hit hard by the effects of Covid-19. With a 95% reduction in revenue, Canada's largest exotic animal rescue has taken a big hit and has been forced to restructure and refocus their efforts in order to keep the doors open. Thanks to over 3,500 donations Little Ray's was able to raise over $200,000. This money will go directly towards the care and maintenance of the animals through our new non-profit foundation FARE - Foundation For Animal Rescue And Education.
We are still a ways away from our $350,000 goal and with the start of another lockdown Little Ray's will be in dire need of donors, sponsors, and support through covid-19. We have always relied on being self-funded throughout the over 25+ years that we have been open so the need for outside funding for our rescue and organization has been a big change for us.
